Meditation
If you sometimes feel that life isn’t quite how you want it to be, or notice a quiet sense of unease beneath the surface, you’re not alone. Many of us move through our days feeling unsettled, unsure of our direction, or caught in self-doubt.
We may struggle to accept parts of ourselves, feel easily distracted, or long for a deeper sense of presence and ease. Often, we don’t realise how much our thoughts and beliefs are shaping our experience of life.
Meditation is a time-honoured path to greater clarity, steadiness and freedom. It doesn’t promise a life without challenges, because being human means meeting difficulty, but it does offer a way to be with life as it is, with more kindness, resilience and openness. Through meditation, we learn to rest in the present moment and to meet whatever arises without becoming overwhelmed or lost.
Our group meditation sessions offer a gentle, supportive space to slow down and be present together. You’ll be guided to find a comfortable meditation posture that works for you, whether on a cushion, chair or stool.
We’ll use the breath as a steady anchor and explore the simplicity of “just sitting” in awareness, building trust in yourself and in the practice over time. There is space for questions, reflection and meeting any challenges that arise, held with care and openness. Inspiring quotes and poetry are shared to nourish the practice, and you’ll be part of a sangha – a supportive community where we practice and grow together.'
